Road To Freedom

I have decided to start this blog to share my story with all who has a desire to hear it. My story of love, lust, and loss. As well as a story of grace, mercy, and longsuffering. How a series of events led to one life-altering event that dramatically changed my life and the life of those that loved me the most. it has been a long road to getting to the point of being able to openly discuss the events of my life with family and friends, let alone with the entire world wide web. I call this my road to freedom because I have been bound by shame and pain and hurt for over 10 years because of this. I have always tried to hide my shame from the world. I have always tried to let people get to know the good in me before they found out about the "bad" of my past and the labels that were attached to it. I have been shamed openly in my city, I've been openly embarrassed on social media, and in real life. I have carried this around for well over 10 years, and now I'm facing it head-on and telling my side of the story. The good, the bad, and the ugly So come alone on this journey with me to hear unknown details, the history that led to these events, current events, and future endeavors.

I have accepted that this road will not be easy, everyone won't be understanding, everyone won't care about my side of the story, and not everyone will think that its "ok". However, that is a risk that I have to take, I have to step out of my comfort zone and be obedient to the instructions that have been given to me by God. It is not my goal to gain "friends or followers", my only intentions are to share my testimony of how i survived and encourage others that you can do the same, and to give God the glory by doing so.
